“I don’t get it” is a comic with abstract art, featuring a conversation between two characters. It’s an experiment in being explicit while being ambiguous. The dialogue builds the world the characters live in and shows you who they are, and yet the characters featured have no names, no faces. Without seeing their expression, their gestures, the little tells that suggest who they are…without all of that all there is to understand the characters are their words, and the shifting, amorphous shapes of the art.
