Unfolding is made up of four stories, but it is really one story.

It asks the reader to think about the way we come to know those around us, through snippets of information, through implications. Intertwined with the stories of others, informed by them in subtle ways. Unfolding attempts to capture the essence of how we experience eachother.

It is made on four cards of paper, one side containing text, the other an image. This paper is folded, again and again, with more of the image and more of the text revealed. Slowly you begin to know more of the text, and more of the image. Slowly you get to know the four people described in Unfolding.
